Catering Provision
Mealtimes are a shared experience, with teachers and pupils dining together to enjoy freshly prepared, delicious meals every day. At Shrewsbury House, our dedicated catering team provides well-balanced meals that are both nutritious and flavourful, essential to enriching the minds of growing and active learners.
Fresh and healthy Food
Our goal is to instil a love and understanding of fresh, healthy food at a young age that will positively influence them throughout life. Food is freshly prepared in school and the boys also have the opportunity to learn to cook as part of the co-curricular programme in Cookery Club.
Vegan and Vegetarian Options
There is a wide range and variety of food on offer each day and vegans and vegetarians are well catered for. The roast dinners are always a firm favourite for both the boys and staff. A plentiful salad bar is also available each day. An excellent range of desserts is also offered daily, often including a hot dessert and always a choice of many different fruits and flavoured yoghurts.
Allergies
Thomas Franks, our catering company, have a comprehensive food allergen and intolerance process and the Catering Team work closely with boys and their families to address individual dietary needs.
